Credit Card Orders: You can place orders via credit card with our on-line secure shopping system. Simply browse to the item you would like, select the quantity and color, and click "Add to Cart". When you are ready to check out, go to the Shopping Cart link on the upper right hand side of your page to check out.
Security is important to us. We have carefully selected a nationally recognized secure server, offering only state of the art technology, to safely transmit your order. Encrypted technology has allowed us to offer on-line ordering for over a decade without a single security issue. If you still feel uncomfortable submitting your order on-line and would like to pay by credit card, we offer the following options:
1. Print out our printable order form and send your order by mail or fax.
2. Submit your information via our on-line secure shopping cart, leave the credit card information blank (fill in 16 zeros instead of your card number). Then, call us with your credit card information at 1-800-264-HATS or (281) 334-4287.
3. Fill out our printable order form with your product selections, and call us at (281) 334-4287 or 1-800-264-HATS to place your order by phone.
PayPal & Google Orders: You can place orders via PayPal or Google checkout. Simply browse to the item you would like, select the quantity and color, and click "Add to Cart". When you are ready to check out, click on the PayPal or Google button on the bottom of the shopping cart page. PayPal and Google Checkout are third party processing services, that allows you to make payment by credit card, E-check or electronic funds transfer. PayPal is used by millions of online shoppers and retail vendors. You will have to set up an account with PayPal and/or Google in order to purchase through these third party payment sources. You will recieve a shipment notification and tracking information from Headcovers.com. Shipment notifications will not come directly from PayPal or Google.
PayPal Verified and/or Confirmed: To expedite your order please be sure your account is verified and address confirmed through PayPal. (See instructions within your PayPal account) We reserve the right to require one or both of the security measures mentioned above. Orders placed with accounts that are not verified and confirmed may delay order processing.
Chargebacks or Disputed Charges: If you are unhappy with our service or products for any reason, please contact us directly. We are happy to work with you to achieve a satisfactory resolution. Please note that a $25 bank fee will be assessed immediately upon our notification of a disputed charge or chargeback with your credit card company, PayPal or Google. Just like a cancelled check or a check with insufficient funds, this fee is paid by the customer as a bank processing fee and is non refundable. Please note that any additional bank fees associated with the chargeback process will be the responsibility of the customer. At times, these fees can be in excess of $150.00.
Chargebacks cost all of our customers in the form of higher prices. In order to keep our prices low, we have implemented policies to protect honest customers from this type of theft. When your bank notifies us of a disputed charge, we will issue an invoice for the disputed charge amount, plus the $25 bank fee. Any additional bank fees during this process will also be billed. Customer has 30 days to settle the debt in full. If the bill is unpaid, customer's account is placed with a third-party collection agency. Collection agency will report the delinquent debt to all major credit bureaus.
Payment by Check or Money Order: For those that would like to pay by check or money order, print out our printable order form, fill it out, and mail your order with payment to: Headcovers Unlimited, 2020-C Anders Lane, Kemah, TX 77565. Please note that we cannot bill you for merchandise. Your order will not be shipped until payment is received. If you are sending a personal check, your order may be held until it clears the bank. A $25 fee is charged for each non-sufficient funds check paid to Headcovers Unlimited. For fastest service, please pay by postal money order or credit card.
If you are purchasing a wig, we cannot accept a personal check as payment. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are purchasing a wig, and wish to pay by mail, please send a postal money order in verified US funds.
US Wig Shipping Policies and Transit Times:
We offer 3 shipping options on our wigs. These options apply to wigs only:
1) Standard Shipping $9.95 - (7-14 days)
2) Overnight $39.95 (1-2 business days)
3) 2 Day Shipping $25.95 (2-3 business days)
Please note the following exceptions to the above:
A) Raquel Welch and Henry Margu Wigs offer Free Standard Shipping.
B) Raquel Welch Wigs are not available for 2 Day Shipping
C) Rene of Paris, Noriko and Amore Wigs are not available for 2 Day or Overnight Shipping.
- STANDARD WIG SHIPPING: Transit time for wigs shipped via standard shipping ($9.95) is 7-14 days. If you are ordering other products with your wig, the shipping charge is increased to $13.95 for all products. Everything will ship together in one box. For customers that need delivery to a post office box, this is your only shipping option.

TWO DAY WIG SHIPPING: Wigs shipped via 2 DAY AIR ($25.95) will arrive two business days after you place your order, if you place your order by 10 am Eastern time. Otherwise, it will arrive in 3 business days. Wigs ordered by 2 day service are shipped to you directly from the wig manufacturer. Other products ordered will arrive via standard shipping (in a separate shipment) and will incur an additional shipping charge of $4.95.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING: ($39.95) will arrive the next business day, if ordered by 10 am Eastern time. Otherwise, it will arrive in 2 business days. Wigs ordered by overnight service are shipped to you directly from the wig manufacturer. Other products ordered will arrive via standard shipping (in a separate shipment) and will incur an additional shipping charge of $4.95.

Please keep in mind that UPS, Federal Express and other carriers do not operate on the weekends or Federal Holidays. If you must have your wig by a certain date, please let us know this at the time of order. Most often, we can accommodate you.

Because our wigs are often shipped directly from the manufacturer, we do not send out a receipt of sale unless specifically requested. If you must have your wig in a plain unmarked box, we can accommodate you, but please let us know this when you place your order.

Unless you are an established customer, your wig order must be sent to the address on file with your credit card company. For security reasons, we cannot ship your wig to an alternate address. If you must have your order shipped to an alternate address, we require advance payment via wire transfer or Western Union.

Although we will attempt to honor requests for alternate shipping addresses, we reserve the right to ship any order to the billing address provided at checkout. We also reserve the right to require a signature upon delivery.

More than one wig, shipped at the same time, by the same manufacturer can be shipped for a single shipping charge. Two wigs ordered at the same time, by different manufacturers may be subject to additional shipping charges. Please contact our wig consultant for more information.
Domestic (US) Shipments of Headwear, Gifts, Scarves, Cosmetics, Swimwear, Jewelry:
We have two shipping options available for our headwear, cosmetics, jewelry and gift orders:
1. STANDARD SHIPPING: Orders under 3 pounds in weight will be sent via First Class Mail or Priority Mail through the US Postal Service. Shipments normally arrive within 3-7 business days. Shipment times are not guaranteed. Shipments over 3 pounds in weight will be shipped Federal Express Ground in the 48 contiguous states, or USPS for Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses, post office boxes and US territories. Our standard shipping chart is as follows:
- $5.95 for orders under $50
- $6.95 for orders from $50 - $74.99
- $7.95 for orders from $75 - $99.99
- $8.95 for orders from $100 - $125.99
- $9.95 for orders over $126
- Shipments over 5 pounds in weight may be subject to additional shipping charges. We will contact you for authorization before shipping your order if additional shipping charges apply.
2. FEDEX PRIORITY (2DAY AIR): Your order will be shipped via Federal Express 2 Day Air. (Physical Address/No PO Boxes). Typically your order will arrive in 2 business days, if we receive your order by 12 pm, CST. Orders received after 12 pm may not ship until the following business day. On rare occasion, we experience an unusually high order volume, which may delay processing. In addition, destinations outside of major metropolitan areas may require an additional shipping day for delivery. For this reason, please allow 2-3 business days to receive your express shipment. We are not responsible for delays due to situations beyond our control, including but not limited to: inclement weather and natural or man made disasters. The following is our shipping chart for Fedex Priority shipments.
- Order total of $100.00 or less - $19.95
- Order total of $100.01 or more - $22.95
3. EXPRESS SHIPPING: Your order will be shipped via Federal Express or USPS Express Mail. Typically, your order will arrive the next business day, if we receive your order by 12 pm, CST. Orders received after 12 pm may not ship until the following business day. On rare occasion, we experience an unusually high order volume, which may delay processing. In addition, destinations outside of major metropolitan areas may require an additional shipping day for delivery. For this reason, please allow 1-3 business days to receive your express shipment. We are not responsible for delays due to situations beyond our control, including but not limited to: inclement weather and natural or man made disasters. The following is our shipping chart for Express Shipments:
- Order total of $75.00 or less - $27.95
- Order total of $75.01 - 100.00 - $28.95
- Order total of $100.01 or more - $29.95
Shipments over 3 pounds in weight may be subject to additional shipping charges. We will contact you for authorization before shipping your order if additional shipping charges apply.
SHIPPING AND BILLING ADDRESSES: For security reasons, we reserve the right to ship any order to the billing address provided at checkout. We reserve the right to require a signature on any package.
Delayed Shipments:
Express Orders: If you do not receive your express shipment within 3 business days, we will refund the difference between our express shipping fee and our standard shipping fees. This guarantee applies only to US (domestic) shipments. The following exceptions apply: On the rare occasion of a back order or any discrepencies on your order, we will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to reach you immediately, your shipment will be held until we are able to successfully reach you. We can not be responsible for delivery delays that result from the carrier being unable to deliver the package due to no one being at the shipping address to accept the package when delivery is attempted. We cannot be responsible for delays due to incliment weather, natural disasters, or holiday peak times. We are not responsible for packages claimed delivered by the carrier but not received by the customer. To ensure safe delivery, we reserve the right to require a signature on any package.
Standard Shipments: The vast majority of our packages are delivered within 3-7 business days after shipment. Occasionally, USPS or Fed. Ex. will misdirect a package, and shipping time may take longer than expected. In this case, we have set the following policies for packages sent via STANDARD SHIPPING:
If your package has been delayed, we will provide you with a tracking number. It is the customer's responsibility to follow up at their local post office, mail carrier or Fed. Ex station. If the shipper is unable to trace the package and tracking does not show delivery within 21 days of shipment (domestic shipments) or 30 days (international shipments) we will re-ship the package. Re-shipped packages are not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds. If the original package shows as delivered at a later date and is not returned to us, customer will be charged for both shipments.
If a package has been delayed and the customer is unable to wait 21-30 days for re-shipment, there is one other option available. The customer can re-order the products. When the first package is received, the customer can refuse the duplicate package upon arrival. The carrier will return it to us at no additional charges to you, as long as the box has not been opened. When we receive the returned shipment, we will refund your account for the duplicate order, minus shipping costs.
NOTE: We are not responsible for packages claimed delivered by the post office or Fed Ex (via delivery confirmation or tracking) but not received by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to request a signature requirement, which adds an automatic $2 to the shipping charge. We reserve the right to require a signature on any package at our discretion.
Undeliverable Shipments & Shipping Address Errors:
Customer assumes full responsibility for entering accurate shipping information when submitting an order. Please double check your shipping information carefully before submitting your order. If you find that you have made an error when submitting your shipping address, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to make the corrections for you, however, if the order has already been sent for processing, we will be unable to make any modifications. In this case, it is the customer's responsibility to bear all shipping expenses associated with the misdirected parcel. For international shipments, the customer assumes responsibility for all shipping charges, all customs charges for the misdirected package, as well as return shipping for the package back to us.
If a package is unclaimed by the customer or returned due to unsuccessful delivery attempts, additional shipping charges will apply if the package must be re-shipped. We cannot issue shipping refunds for the original shipment or apply original shipping charges to the reshipment.
Order Fulfillment Errors:
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon receipt of your package. Headcovers.com shipments are carefully inspected through a meticulously managed system of checks and balances. Therefore, any shipping or order fulfillment errors will be extremely rare and must be reported within 3 days of receipt. Any product defects, omissions, or inaccurate shipments that are not claimed within 3 days of receipt will not be accepted for refunds, exchanges or credits. If you are unhappy with an item that you have received for any other reason, please see our return policy for details on how to return the item.
