How do I place an order?

We offer easy on-line credit card ordering.  As you scroll through our on-line catalog, you will notice underlined text next to each item which says, "Click here for more information."  Click there, and you will be taken to a page that gives you further information about the item, and allows you to add the item to your shopping cart.  When you are ready to check out, click the "View Cart" button on the top left hand side of your screen.  From there, follow the checkout procedure.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes!  If you are interested in a gift certificate, please see our gift certificates page for more information.  Gift certificates start at $25.00 and go all the way up to $500.00, with many increments in between.

Do you offer printed catalogs?

Because we offer the most up-to-date trends in headwear and hair styling, our product line is constantly changing.  Fabric availability changes, trends change, and we are always finding new things to offer.  Unfortunately, the down side is that a printed catalog would be impractical.  By the time we had it printed, it would already be outdated.  We are happy to send out business cards to anyone who would like to spread the word along to others. 

As an alternative to a printed catalog, we often suggest printing out the web pages for the products you are interested in.  Our customers have been printing out our web site for years, and this has proved a satisfactory alternative to a standard catalog.  This option will allow you to view our selections at your leisure, or pass them along to a friend or relative who may not have Internet access.  Thank you for your understanding.  We hope that the benefit of constantly being offered fresh merchandise is worth this extra effort to you.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be COMPLETELY satisfied with any product you purchase from us. We recognize how difficult it is to visualize a product without seeing it in person. We maintain a generous return policy on our hats and turbans. (Most of our customers are pleasantly surprised by the high quality of our items, and would not dream of returning them!) We get more repeat orders (for more of the same) than we get requests for returns. We do have return guidelines that we must enforce in order to maintain the integrity of our merchandise. 

The return policy on our wigs is a little more restrictive (due to the nature of the item), but it is still fair, and compares favorably to other on-line wig companies. Please see our RETURNSinformation page for more specific information about our return policy.

What is your privacy policy?

Headcovers Unlimited respects your right for privacy. We do not sell, rent or loan ANY information regarding our customers to any third party, for ANY reason.  We do not send out printed materials, spam emails, or engage in any form of telephone solicitation.  The personal information that you provide is used for the sole purpose of processing your order.  This is our pledge to you, our valued customer.

How do I know that it is safe to order with you?

We recognize that online shopping can be intimidating for many shoppers.  Security and privacy are vital concerns.  We have taken safeguards to ensure your shopping experience is safe. 

1. servers are protected by secure firewalls—communication management computers specially designed to keep information secure and inaccessible by other Internet users. So you're absolutely safe while you shop.

2.  Our site uses SSL encryption to secure the communication of all sensitive information passing between your browser and our servers. To confirm that it is a secure connection, you should see the in the URL when on pages sharing sensitive information (Shopping Cart, Checkout and Account Pages). The “https” indicates that it’s using SSL. Furthermore, you should see a yellow lock at the bottom right corner of your browser.

3.  We have been in business for over 20 years.  We have a boutique store at 214 S. Iowa Avenue, League City, TX 77573.  We have also provided easy to find contact information so you know who we are and where you can find us.

4.  We protect your privacy.  We will not rent, sell or share your information with any third party unless required by law.

Do your hats come in sizes?

All of our hats are one size fits most.  Most of our hats are made of fabric that stretches, or they have hidden elastic built into the back, to accommodate a variety of head sizes.  If you have any concerns regarding the fit of a particular hat, feel free to e-mail us with your questions. 

Do you offer discounts to chemotherapy patients?

All of our products are priced below suggested retail and are already discounted.  Most of our clients are chemotherapy patients or individuals on fixed incomes.  Our everyday prices are set with that in mind, and are already reduced.
