Track Your Order at Headcovers.com
Enter your order number below to see where your order is right now.
The billing last name is the one on the billing address, which is not always the name the parcel is going to.
where to find your order number
- Your order confirmation email. It arrives within a few minutes of checkout and the order number is at the top.
- Your shipping confirmation email. The same number appears again when the order leaves us, this time with the tracking number.
- The packing slip in the box, if part of the order has already arrived.
If the confirmation is not in your inbox, look in spam and in any promotions tab before you assume the order did not go through. Placing the order a second time is the one thing we would ask you not to do. Call us instead and we will check.
If you were signed in when you ordered, sign in instead and every order you have placed is listed for you, no number needed.
what your status means
| status | what it means |
|---|---|
| no tracking email yet | We have your order and it has not left us yet. Tracking comes in a second email, sent when the box ships. If that email is overdue, look in spam and in your promotions tab first. |
| label created | Your order is packed and the label is created. From there the package has either been picked up by the carrier and not scanned yet, or it is waiting for pickup. USPS packages in particular are often not scanned until they reach their second destination, so a label with nothing behind it is normal. Some packages travel the whole way without another scan and simply arrive, so watch the mailbox as well as the tracking. |
| in transit | The carrier has your package and is moving it. Scans can be many hours apart, and longer over a weekend or a holiday. A quiet day is normal. |
| out for delivery | It is on the truck today. |
| delivered | The carrier has recorded the drop off, and the scan usually names the spot it was left. If it is not there, work through the steps below. |
if it says delivered and it is not there
- Read the tracking line itself. It usually says where. A delivered scan carries the spot with it, like "Delivered, In/At Mailbox" or "Delivered, Front Door/Porch" or "Delivered, Parcel Locker." Check that place before you check anywhere else.
- Check your mailbox. This is the one people miss. Smaller orders go by mail and land in the mailbox, not on the doorstep.
- Then check the places a carrier leaves a parcel out of the weather: the porch, behind a planter, a side or back door, the garage, and the office or parcel room if you are in an apartment building. Look for a delivery notice, ask anyone else at the address and the neighbors either side, and check the address on your confirmation email while you are at it.
- Give it two business days. Carriers do sometimes record a package as delivered a day or two before it lands. Most turn up on their own inside that window.
An order with more than one kind of item often travels in more than one box. Wigs and headwear frequently ship separately, and mastectomy products ship direct from the manufacturer rather than from our warehouse. Each shipment has its own tracking, so one arriving does not mean the rest is lost.
Delivery times, delays and what happens with a package that does not arrive are all set out on the shipping, ordering & payment policies page.
