Women's Cotton Scarves and Head Scarves

Cotton is a natural material that is breathable, soft, comfortable, durable and absorbent. Cotton scarves provide a slightly more structured look and feel great against the skin.

Cotton is a great choice for those with skin sensitivities and allergies because it is soft, non-irritating and natural.

While some customers wash their cotton scarves in a lingerie bag on a gentle cycle, to best maintain and ensure the longevity of your cotton scarf, we recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and laying flat to dry. Remove wrinkles with an iron on low heat. Carefully fold and store on a hanger or in a drawer. For hand stamped or hand dyed scarves, we recommend washing individually or with like colors to prevent bleed from natural dyes.

Cotton is suitable for all seasons if you live in a mild climate as it is lightweight and breathable. In more extreme cold weather, we recommend wearing a beanie or turban under your cotton scarf for warmth. The Meridian Beanie is one of our favorite recommendations because it also provides volume underneath.
