I was having trouble keeping my wig in place so I decided to give the wig gripper a try. It works wonderfully! I'm new to wearing wigs for my ultra fine, thiin hair because I could never find one large enough. That was until I discovered your website! Initially I was really uncomfortable--I could feel the wig moving up as though it was going to go sailing off my head any second. My hairdresser sewed in clips, but they ended up pulling my hair. I then tried bobby pins and that was better but annoying. Then I got the wig gripper headband and fastened it with bobby pins. That worked great but I finally got brave enough to just use the headband. It is fine!! No more clips or pins for me, kids! In case you are wondering, I tried it with a terry cloth sports headband I already owned and it didn't do right at all. Buy the wig gripper.

I bought this because a lady at a local wig store told me that I have a "slick" head and may need a wig gripper to keep a wig secure. The slick head is a result of the shape of my head and the fact that my bio hair is very fine and silky. Sadly, this gripper shoots off my head as easily as a wig. However, after doing some research I found a suggestion to use hair gel on the hairline at the front and back of my head. This makes the hair less silky and gives the gripper and wig something to hold onto. It works!

It was love at first grip .. lol
I have to say I am new at this whole wearing wigs thing. When I got my wig I was recommended by the lady at the salon to sew the back part and glue the front, since I was to be using it daily. It was a nightmare! I ended up losing almost all of my already thinning and extremely fragile hair due to the braiding and lost whatever hairline I had left due to the glue. Since I didn't know of any other way of using my wig without it falling or shifting, and I definitely did not wanted to braid, sew and glue again, I had to wear it at all times with a headband over it, to keep it in place. Then I heard of the Wig Gripper and decided to give it a try, what else could I lose if not a few dollars? I tried it as soon as I got it and I was in shock. How could something this thin and comfortable hold my wig so safely in its place? It was love at first grip!!! Not even with the thread and glue did I felt my wig so secured as I do now with the wig gripper. I'm definitely getting one or two more to have as spare, just in case. I would definitely recommend it!

Wow, it really works!
I bought this product because I have been having trouble with my wig slipping. Well, I just got it in the mail and tried it out today for the first time. It seems to be working! Hard to believe this simple headband could solve my problem. It's really soft and comfortable too. Hopefully my good results will continue. I will report back if anything changes!!! ;-)

This really helps keep my wig in place. I have noticed that mine sometime rides up in back and then it becomes loose. I think it doesn't fit the shape of the back of my head. I really do like it, though. It makes my wig feel really secure. I wish I had found this product a couple of months ago.:)

Can't say enough about this product. I have very short hair with no way to secure my wigs. I bought this to assist me, and what a surprise. IT REALLY WORKS!!! I bought this to wear underneath my wig, but tried it out under my scarves and it worked just as well for keeping them from slipping. Comfy to wear and effective.

I love it! But I thought it would be thinner and also the Velcro could be extended a little more to allow for a tighter fit as well as people with smaller heads. But I LOVE IT! I went to a beauty supply store to try to find one before I ordered from you and they acted like I was crazy when I asked for a wig gripper band.

Q: How would this work with wearing glasses?
A: Thank you for your question! You would either wear your glasses underneath or on top of the gripper, whichever is more comfortable for you. It is thin enough that most customers do not mind their glasses resting on top of the gripper.

Our Wig Gripper is meant to be worn just a tiny bit further back from the hairline (like a headband would be worn), so that it does not show underneath a lace front wig. You can see the wig gripper pictured with a lace front wig in the third photo down on the left side of the screen on the product page.

Q: What is the fabric with which this headband is made? Some days my head sweats so badly under my wig and I have to remove it. If this is made of fabric that holds the heat in, it won't be good for me. Thank you, in advance, for your input..
