How To Wear A Baseball Cap During Chemo

Imagine: It's Saturday, and you've got a laid-back day planned. You're going to stop and get a coffee, then head to the grocery store and before taking a stroll through the park. Naturally, your go-to look for a day like this is your favorite baseball cap. Comfortable, easy, and reliable, baseball caps are casual heroes that you can just throw on and go. However, most baseball caps are shallow and usually have a hole in the back, so they do not provide total head coverage.  When you have hair loss from chemotherapy, you may not feel totally comfortable in just a ball cap. Luckily, there are ways to wear your baseball cap to give you complete coverage, as well as alternatives to traditional baseball caps that are designed for hair loss.

3 Ways to Add Total Head Coverage to a Baseball Cap

1. The Ponytail Headband

Baseball caps and ponytails go together like peanut butter and jelly. Our patented Ponytail Headband lets you get this iconic look even during hair loss. This is our favorite way to style a baseball cap during hair loss. This hairpiece features a gorgeous ponytail attached to a comfortable, stretchy headband made of yoga-pant material. It has removable side tendrils to customize your look. Wear under any baseball cap to give a classic ponytail look.

2. A Scarf or Bandana

A lightweight, 100% cotton bandana or scarf is the perfect solution to cover your head. Simply add any ball cap on top of your tied bandana, and you have a cute and casual look that feels secure. Bandanas are available in lots of different patterns and colors, so it's fun to mix and match different bandanas with your ball caps. Click here to learn how to tie a bandana.
