Phyllis Yates is a clinical psychologist who specializes in grief therapy. Currently retired, in private practice, she was a licensed professional counselor, a licensed family and marital therapist and a licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor in the state of Texas.


Mrs. Yates earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, knitting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
